Matt is a dedicated advocate for workers’ rights. He represents unions and employees before arbitrators, labour boards, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and in the Ontario and federal courts.
Prior to joining CaleyWray in 2025, Matt practiced law in Boston for over five years at a nationally recognized labour and employment firm and a major international firm. Matt has represented workers in labour board disputes, wage and hour litigation, independent contractor misclassification actions, discrimination claims, and severance negotiations.
Matt graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2019, where he was a research assistant at Harvard’s Labor and Worklife Program and a regular contributor to OnLabor.org. He also represented refugee claimants in Massachusetts and at the Texas-Mexico border as a student attorney at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic and served as Co-Director of the International Refugee Assistance Project.
