Workplace Discrimination

Doug Wray and Jesse Kugler recently represented the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers as an intervener in British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal v. Schrenk, 2017 SCC 62. The Appeal was allowed, and the Supreme Court held that perpetrators of workplace discrimination are not limited to employers or supervisors, but can include other employers or co-workers, as long as there is sufficient nexus to the employment context.
